As of today, the 1st of July 2024, new visa pricing has been implemented across various visa categories. These changes affect a range of visas, including partner, working holiday, tourist, temporary skill shortage, graduate, and student visas. Most of the increases align with CPI (2.75%) and are rounded to the nearest $5 (except for student visas with a significant increase).
Below is an outline of the some of the new fees.
Partner and Prospective Marriage Visas:
The Partner Visa (Subclass 309/820) and Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300) have seen an increase in fees. The new cost is $9095, up from $8850.
Working Holiday Visa (Subclass 417/462)
The Working Holiday Visa now costs $650, up from $635.
Tourist Visa (Subclass 600)
For those looking to explore Australia as tourists, the Tourist Visa fee has increased to $195, up from $190.
Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (Subclass 482)
The fees for the Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (Subclass 482) have also been revised:
- Short Term Stream: Now $1495, up from $1455.
- Medium Term Stream: Now $3115, up from $3035.
Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)
The Graduate Visa fee has increased to $1945 from $1895.
Please note, there has also been a significant number of changes to the graduate visa.
Student Visa (Subclass 500)
Significant changes have been made to the Student Visa (Subclass 500) fees, which now range from $710 to $1600.
Employer Nomination Scheme visa (Subclass 186)
The Employer Nomination Scheme visa (Subclass 186) pricing has increased from $4640 to $4770
Citizenship Applications: (By Conferral)
The application for citizenship by Conferral has increased from $540 to $560.
